Looking for an idea to explore the most beautiful places in the Tatras? We have a great proposal for you! Every Wednesday at 10:00 we invite our Guests for guided tours with a certified Tatra guide, who will show you places that you won't read about in guidebooks.
Our last trip to Strążyska Valley was truly successful! This charming place, whose name comes from the word "stręga" (in dialect: a sheep enclosure), is located not far from the Belvedere Hotel. Our Guests were captivated not only by its beauty but also by a wealth of interesting stories. During the walk, we passed winding paths, listened to the sound of the winter version of Siklawica waterfall, and admired the surrounding peaks - including Giewont.
During each trip, the guide talks about the life of the Tatra nature and local traditions. You will learn interesting facts about the inhabitants of the Tatras - both animals and highlanders, as well as well-known figures associated with Podhale region. Children love to listen to stories about ancient bandits and local bears, while adults are often surprised by the wealth of local nature.
On our trips, you will see the mountains from a completely new perspective. The guide shows places that often escape the attention of tourists and shares insights about how life under the Tatras has changed over the centuries. He also shares knowledge about geology and nature - for example, you will learn why the Tatras have such diverse rocks and how the local valleys were formed.
Every Wednesday at 10:00 we set off on the trail. You will discover popular valleys like Strążyska and Białego, where, in addition to beautiful views, interesting stories await you about the origins of their names. From selected points, you can admire the panorama of the Tatras and learn to recognize the most important peaks.
We choose popular and attractive routes that are pleasant for walking - without very steep ascents or difficult sections. Therefore, you can easily go with the whole family, without worrying about experience in the mountains. We hike at a leisurely pace, making stops at the most interesting places where it's worth pausing longer to listen to the guide's stories or simply enjoy the views.
Want to join us? Sign up at the reception! Just remember to wear comfortable shoes and appropriate clothing - in the mountains, the weather often changes, and the temperature may be lower than in downtown Zakopane.
